Welcome to the ImmersiX Troubleshooting Guide. This guide aims to help you identify and resolve common issues you might encounter while using the ImmersiX application. Whether you're facing performance issues, initialization errors, or playback difficulties, this guide provides solutions to enhance your playback experience. For further assistance, please contact our support team.
If you are experiencing issues with your headset or its connection to the PC, please refer to the instructions from the headset manufacturer. For Meta Quest devices, you can find more information in the Meta Quest .
The application has detected a performance issue which may effect your playback experience. We recommend checking out our Performance guide to improve your immersive experience.
The application could not find an active audio device. Please plug in an audio device.
If an OpenXR instance cannot be created when launching the ImmersiX application, the Meta Quest Link application is not running. Please refer to step 3 in Getting started to install and set up the Meta Quest Link before starting the ImmersiX application.
If no OpenXR headset or system is found when launching the ImmersiX application, the Meta Quest Link application is not set-up correctly. Please refer to steps 4-6 in Getting started to set up the Meta Quest Link before starting the ImmersiX application.
The ImmersiX app requires an NVIDA graphics card (GPU) with the minimum recommended GPU being an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (see System requirements for more details). If this warning is shown, your system does either not include an NVIDIA GPU or the available GPU does not meet the minimum system requirements. You will likely observe playback issues when using the ImmersiX application.
